Biography
Daryle Lademan
Daryle Elizabeth Lademan is the current Vice President, Strategy & Planning for BAE Systems, Inc. In this capacity, she supports long-range strategic planning and market analysis efforts for the U.S. arm of global defense firm BAE Systems, plc, a nearly $13B enterprise that spans businesses operating in markets ranging from electronic warfare systems to combat vehicles to commercial avionics. She also supports competitive intelligence and corporate mergers & acquisitions (M&A) activities. Prior to joining BAE Systems in 2010, Daryle had a successful, 15-year career in aerospace and defense industry consulting, where she lead or participated in hundreds of engagements covering market analyses, competitor assessments, policy and budget tracking, acquisition strategy development and candidate screening, and business due diligence. Daryle served as Principal at the Avascent Group (now Oliver Wyman), a leading global aerospace & defense consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. She also served as a Director at CSP Associates, Inc. – a premier provider of strategic and transaction advisory services to corporate clients, private equity sponsors, and institutional lenders active in the aerospace, defense, government services, and related industries – for nearly a decade. Daryle holds an M.A. in Science, Technology and Public Policy from The George Washington University, where she studied as a NASA Space Grant Fellow. She also holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Central Florida, and is a graduate of the International Space University’s Policy and Law program. Daryle is active in a number of professional development and community organizations. She is a past-president and board member of Women in Aerospace (2010) and remains active in Women in Defense and Women in Homeland Security. She is also a regionally-competitive age-group runner. She has completed 24 marathons (18 with Boston Marathon Qualifying times) – including Berlin (2), London (2), New York City, Chicago (3), Amsterdam, and Boston (6). Daryle and her husband, Ken, an active duty US Marine Corps officer, reside in Arlington, Virginia, and enjoy running, traveling, hiking, and backpacking together.
