Biography
Hope DiGiusto Hope Kelly DiGiusto is a proud Navy veteran, aerospace engineer and space business professional. As Stellar Solution’s Commercial Sector Vice President she teams with new space companies to drive forward future space capabilities. Hope’s space career started at the United States Naval Academy’s Small Satellite Lab. She led fellow midshipmen in the design, launch planning, and fabrication of a Naval Research Lab Atmospheric Neutral Density Experiment (ANDE) small satellite. She gained global context for how space systems can make a difference on Earth from flying helicopter missions overseas in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. She expanded her space roots at SPAWAR Space Field Activity in Chantilly, Virginia, where she championed the national tactical means friendly force tracking program into its second iteration. Her experiences broadened further as a Nuclear Operations Officer at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), and a government contracting businesswoman for space markets. She then took her government experience to the commercial sector to launch an internet of things (IoT) connected vehicle program and engineer satellite ground systems at SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Combining her cross-government and commercial backgrounds, she was a founding member for Amazon’s Project Kuiper Government Solutions team and program manager for regulatory matters in North and South America. In addition to her career pursuits, she is a mother, wife and woman in aerospace advocate. Hope has come through many hard-to-navigate turns in her life and career. It was only possible because of mentors, colleagues, friends and family. For that reason, she is committed to helping propel other’s cislunar trajectory. She strives to be the like mentor, colleague and friend in the Women in Aerospace (WIA) and local Northern Virginia community. Hope holds a B.S In Aerospace Engineering (Astronautics) at the U.S. Naval Academy, and an M.S. Systems Engineering (Systems Architecture), George Mason University. She is certified as a Program Management Professional (PMP)®, Space Cadre Space Expert level III; and Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Program Manager Level II. Hope’s commercial experience and classified credentials equip the Stellar Solutions team with an ability to offer new space solutions to our customer’s critical needs. |
