Transferable skills are the talents and abilities that you possess which are relevant across industries and a vast range of professions. They are essential not only because they are applicable to any business, but because they are timeless and beneficial throughout your career. 

We’ve heard that the only constant is change. The workplace changes rapidly and is ever evolving. There are changes in technology, processes, and communication which lead to pivotal industry changes; often it is transferable skills that keep us ahead of the game, agile, and relevant.  

We should consider experiences not only at work, but in school, humanitarian efforts, and extracurricular activities. It is likely that you have gleaned experience that employers are seeking and that is mutually beneficial to you and the organization for advancement.  

In this session, we will work through questions and the discovery process to identify transferable skills. We will explore our knowledge, skills, and abilities that can be leveraged to advance our career trajectory.
